Jae Ermilus

Jae Ermilus is an associate in Covington’s Washington, DC office. She represents clients in a complex range of antitrust matters, with a focus on class action litigation and civil investigations initiated by the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and state antitrust authorities. Jae also counsels companies across a broad range of industries on antitrust transaction risk assessments, legislation and policy, and compliance, including renewed concerns with Section 8 of the Clayton Act. She has represented both domestic and global clients across multiple industries such as e-commerce, pharmaceutical, medical device, financial services, telecommunications, cable, broadcast, consumer products, industrial products and heavy manufacturing, natural resources, aerospace, defense, gaming, and software, leveraging the firm's international reach to help resolve companies' cross-border antitrust concerns. Jae also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights. For example, she represents prisoners in federal habeas appeals and drafts legislation in consultation with civil rights groups related to the reform of state criminal codes.
